Our keynote speaker for the evening was Irvine Sellar, founder & chairman of Sellar Property Group and the topic of his speech will be “Succeeding Against All Odds”.
Irvine started his career as a market trader, worked his way up to become the UK’s second largest independent fashion retailer, then moved into the world of property in the 1980’s.
In the early 1990’s the Sellar Property Group was established. It has recently completed the first two phases of the London Bridge Quarter development, which encompasses The Shard and The Place. Work has already started on phase three of LBQ, a striking 27-storey residential building, designed by Renzo Piano, providing 150 apartments.
