Cheltenham Festival Preview

The Directors of TLICN are delighted to announce further details of our first event of 2024 which will be a look forward to March and the Cheltenham Festival.

Our keynote speaker for the evening will be horse trainer John “Shark” Hanlon.

Shark is a larger-than-life character, whose nickname originates from his abilities to play hurling.  He hails from Kilkenny and his stud is sited in Bagenalstown, Carlow.  Having been raised on a cattle farm, he started his horse training career by buying a horse with school friend George Mullins and he was also involved in assisting Rachel Blackmore start her professional horse riding career.

Please join us to hear how John’s career has progressed over the years, racing horses at Cheltenham, and his thoughts on this year’s Cheltenham Festival.

Joining John on the night, will be Steve Bowers from The Front Runners Network, which assists business owners achieve their dream of participating in horse ownership without the big expense.

This event will take place across two venues, which are very close to each other.

Firstly, we are very grateful to Arbuthnot Latham for the use of their meeting space.  Arbuthnot Latham offer private and commercial banking along with wealth management services.
