7th Annual Parliamentary Reception: Thursday 23rd March 2023 (TLICN Members Only)

The Directors of TLICN are delighted to announce that our 7th Annual Parliamentary Reception will be held on Thursday 23rd March at The Terrace Pavilion within The House of Commons.
Our thanks go to Karin Smyth, Labour MP for Bristol South for kindly sponsoring this very special event. Karin was elected to Parliament in May 2015 and is Chair of the Ireland and Ireland in Britain APPG, which celebrates the Irish in Britain and the close ties between Ireland and the UK.
Karin was born in London to Irish parents who moved to Britain in the 1950s, she moved to Bristol in the 1990s and is married with three sons. She graduated from the University of East Anglia in 1988 with a degree in Economics and Social Studies and went on to study for an MBA at the University of Bath in 1995. Prior to becoming an MP, Karin worked as an NHS manager, has run an MP’s office and was a non-Executive Director of an NHS Trust.
Our evening will commence at 6.45pm but we would advise that you arrive before 6.15pm in order to clear security.
Following confirmation of your reservation, an official invite will be sent a few days before the event. The official invitation must be brought along on the night with a form of photo ID. The evening will finish at 10.30pm prompt. Please note, numbers for this event are restricted and we expect demand to be high, therefore, this event is available to TLICN Members only.
